Dr. Karl Fulkert, FACFAS
Originally from Miller City, Ohio, Dr. Fulkert graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in physiology. He then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he was salutatorian for the class of 2006. He went on to complete his three year surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Fulkert is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Fulkert’s interest in podiatry include: sports medicine, diabetic care, pediatric care and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. The one thing that excites Dr. Fulkert most about podiatry is watching a patient walk out pain free after successful treatment with a smile on their face. He also enjoys treating patients of all ages from 1 – 100.
Dr. Sarah Viselli, FACFAS
Dr. Sarah Viselli is originally from Hermitage, Pennsylvania and graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her three year surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, where she was also Chief Resident her third year. Dr. Viselli is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She is trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and enjoys working with children, athletes and adults with various foot complaints. She also has had the experience working in a wound care center treating lower extremity wounds. What she loves most about podiatry is the almost immediate improvement patients notice after their initial visit.
Promoting a Welcoming, Family Atmosphere
While out of the office, Drs. Fulkert and Viselli enjoy an active lifestyle. Dr. Fulkert enjoys watching any sporting event, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes as well as a round of golf. Dr. Viselli loves sports as well, from golf to softball, but especially enjoys watching the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fall! With their two children, Jack and Grace, they are excited to be back in Ohio, a place they can finally call home!
